Brian Ciapinski
President & Co-Owner
Brian Ciapinski is a native of Orland Park, Illinois. As an alumnus of Victor J Andrew High School, and Trinity Christian College with a degree in Human Resources and Marketing, his roots run deep in the Chicago area. He began his career in solid waste and recycling with Waste Management Inc. He grew with the company in various positions, including Operations Support, Outside Sales, Inside Sales Representative, Customer Service Project Manager, and then Regional Customer Service Manager. During his 18 years at Waste Management, Inc., he took pride in thoroughly engaging with clients and providing strong customer support through operations. This experience, and being a victim of Identity Theft, led him to start a document destruction company.
Brian and his business partner, Jeff Dencek, formed Shark Shredding, Inc in 2005. Combined, they have over 24 years of experience in document management, data protection, and recycling. Focusing on strong client communication and keeping the customer's best interests as the primary focus remain Brian's daily activities.

Jeff Dencek
Vice President and Co-Owner
Jeff Dencek grew up in Palos Heights, Illinois. His strong work ethic and drive started at an early age and working his way through Loyola University. He earned a degree in Human Resources with a Minor in Law. After graduation, he started working at Waste Management, Inc. He was considered a valuable asset to the company and advanced quickly into higher positions. His document management and recycling journey continued as he became a managing partner at Suburban Recycling and Disposal/Chicago Document Control in Cicero. In his role, he was instrumental in providing efficient and effective leadership for all operations through managing team members, developing internal and external relations, quality control, and planning.
In 2005, Jeff and his business partner, Brian Ciapinski, assumed the customers and assets of Chicago Document Control and formed Shark Shredding, Inc. Jeff manages all operations for the company
Joe Eaton
Account Manager
Joe has 23 years of Document Management and Shredding experience in developing customized shredding programs to assist customers with a secure means of destroying confidential, proprietary information. He always was driven to solve the problems of different businesses, large or small, and provide a secure means of destroying their confidential data.
Joe's role consists of creating new business relationships and building on existing ones throughout the Chicagoland marketplace. He works closely with clients to identify strategic solutions for their data protection and educate clients on the new laws that may be governing their data.
